Where to Find Essex Toastmasters Meetings

We are an open community club that meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month* from 7:15pm - 8:45pm. Please note that these meetings do not always fall on every other Thursday. Also, occasionally, modifications will be made to meeting locations and dates, especially around the holidays in November and December. Please check our Meetings Schedule page for details on when the meetings will be held.

COVID-19 Update

As of March 12th, all in-person Essex TM meetings have been suspended until further notice. If you are interested in participating in our Virtual Essex Toastmasters meetings via Zoom, please email our Club Secretary, Cheryl Erenberg for more info.  They will take place on the same schedule as our in-person meetings which is available on our Meeting Schedule page.

A few incidents have been brought to my attention recently where inadvertent comments or presentations on “touchy subjects” made at meetings have caused offense or upset. To be clear, these are rare exceptions. In general, our club is high performing, friendly and inviting and representative of a diversity of perspectives.

Jon Godin and Dr. Tyran Mincey, two of our most skilled speakers, took first place in the Tall Tales and Table Topics speech contests, respectively, at the Area 53 and 54 competition at Roseland Library - making it a clean-sweep for Essex Toastmasters!
