Dan & Pam Move on to the Division Contest

Roseland, New Jersey - March 3, 2017 - At the just concluded joint Area 53/54 contest held at the Roseland Public Library, Essex Toastmasters members Dan Sadowsky and Pamela Olsen placed first in the Evaluation and International Speech Contest, respectively.

Dan, a Clifton resident, evaluated a speech by Dennis Quirk from Celgene Toastmasters entitled "How to Give a Speech". Dan's critique was well received by the speaker and audience.
Pam, a Jersey City resident, infused her operatic singing talent into her speech entitled "Cultivating Confidence", a captivating recollection of her mother's sage advice on doing the same.
Both contestants will move on to represent Essex Toastmasters at the Division Contest with winners from Areas 51, 52, 53 & 54. The Division contest will held on Saturday, April 8th at the Scotch Plains Library starting at 9:30 am.
